About Alf Mentzer
Alf Mentzer, born in 1966 in Rendsburg, studied English, American Studies, Philosophy and History in Bonn, at Harvard and in Frankfurt am Main. From 2006, he worked as a literary editor for the radio station hr2-kultur and for the past two years he has been co-responsible for the arts and culture unit of the broadcaster Hessisches Rundfunk. His publications include “Die Blindheit der Texte. Studien zur literarischen Raumerfahrung” [“The Blindness of Texts: Studies on Spatial Awareness in Literature”] (2001) and a collaboration with Hans Sarkowicz entitled “Schriftsteller im Nationalsozialismus” [“Writers under National Socialism”] (2011).
