About Anja Lechner
Anja Lechner works with internationally renowned musicians from a wide variety of cultures and genres. Composers such as Arvo Pärt, Valentin Silvestrov and Tigran Mansurian have written works for her. The spectrum of her musical ability is apparent across her 30 recordings for ECM. Most of all, she loves to play chamber music, as a duo with François Couturier and as part of the Tarkovsky Quartet, with Pablo Márquez, Dino Saluzzi or for 18 years as a member of the Rosamunde Quartet. In October 2024, she released her solo recording with works by Bach, Abel and Hume. From April 2025, Anja Lechner will be on tour as a member of the newly formed Anouar Brahem Quartet.
