About Anne Gesthuysen
Anne Gesthuysen, was born in 1969 in the Lower Rhine region of Germany. After completing high school in Xanten, she studied journalism and Romance languages and literature. In the 1990s she worked for Radio France. She has been a reporter for WDR, ZDF and VOX, and later became a presenter as well. From 2002, she was the host of the morning program “Morgenmagazin” on broadcaster ARD. Since the success of her first novel, “But We’re Still Sisters”, at the end of 2014, she has focused solely on her writing. Her second novel “Be a Father to Me” appeared in 2015, followed in 2018 by “Girls Night”. She lives in Cologne with her husband Frank Plasberg, her son and a goldendoodle named Freddy.
