About Bernhard Robben
Born in 1955 in Haselünne, Bernhard Robben is a presenter and translator. He has translated the works of many authors into German, including Salman Rushdie, Ian McEwan, Patricia Highsmith, John Williams and Philip Roth. In 2003 he was awarded the translator prize of the Arts Foundation of North Rhine-Westphalia and in 2013 he won the Heinrich Maria Ledig-Rowohlt Prize for his life’s work.
