About Carine Debrabandère
Carine Debrabandère was born in 1962 in Roubaix and has been a journalist with Deutsche Welle since 1989. In 2008 she received the Development Policy Media Prize from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Since February 2012 she has been working for the Deutsche Welle Akademie as a trainer and coordinator for media development projects in Burundi and Burkina Faso. She is married and lives in Cologne.
