About Daniel Cohn-Bendit
Daniel Cohn-Bendit was born in 1945 in Montauban. He studied sociology and became well-known as a spokesman for the 1968 movement in Paris and Frankfurt. In Frankfurt, he worked as the responsible editor and publisher of the alternative city magazine “Pflasterstrand” and since 1978 has supported the Green party. From 1994 until 2014, he represented the Greens as a member of the European Parliament. In 1997 he was granted an honorary doctorate from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. His book “Für Europa. Ein Manifest” was published in 2012.
