About Esther Schweins
Born in 1970, Esther Schweins performed in the TV comedy show “RTL Samstag Nacht” from 1993 to 1998. She has appeared in over 40 film and television productions. In 2019, she presented the TV documentary “Mehr wissen – besser leben” for NDR. Since 2020, she has played a criminal psychologist in the ZDF series “Blutige Anfänger” and a public prosecutor in the ARD series “Die Kanzlei”. In the podcast “Unglaublich krank – Patienten ohne Diagnose”, she and Dr. Martin Mücke investigate rare diseases. Most recently, she appeared in the 2022 Austrian film “Love Machine 2”, the “RTL Samstag Nacht” revival show, Amazon Prime’s Christmas series “Friedliche Weichnachten” and the children’s movie “Lucy ist jetzt Gangster”.
