About Georg Mascolo
Georg Mascolo, former editor in chief of Der Spiegel and one of the leading investigative journalists in the country, published the best seller, “Ausbruch – Innenansichten einer Pandemie” [“Outbreak – Insights Into a Pandemic”] with Katja Gloger in 2021. He had access to a host of confidential documents and is familiar with previously unknown details of the discussions between Germany’s state presidents and Chancellor Merkel.
