About Hendrik Streeck
Born in 1977, Hendrik Streeck is Director of the Institute of Virology at the University Hospital Bonn. He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and Germany’s Expert Council on Health and Resilience. He published the 2021 book “Hotspot” about living with the novel coronavirus. In 2024, he followed this up with “Nachbeben. Die Pandemie, ihre Folgen und was wir daraus lernen können” [“Aftershock: The Pandemic, Its Repurcussions and What We Can Learn From Them”].
