About Jakob Hein
Jakob Hein, born in 1971, works as a psychiatrist. He has now published 17 books, including “My First T-Shirt” (2001), “Mr. Jensen Quits” (2006), “Meat and Mania. A Confession” (2011), “Cold Water” (2016) and “Lieutenant Stern’s Middle Eastern Mission” (2018). His book “Hypochondriacs Live Longer” (2020) spent weeks on the Der Spiegel best-seller list. In 2022, he published the novel “The Hypnotist Or Never So Happy as in the Realm of Ideas” and “Kat Menschik’s and the Psychiatrist Doctor Medicinae Jakob Hein’s Illustrated Compendium of Psychoactive Plants”. He lives with his family in Berlin.
