About Jeanette Hain
German actress Jeanette Hain was born in Munich in 1969. She studied directing at the Munich University of Television and Film. During that time, she was discovered for her first role in the ZDF television movie, “The Cellist”. Her breakthrough came in 1998 with her movie debut in “Frau Rettich, die Czerni und ich”. Hain also appeared in the German-American movie “The Reader” (2008) and in the original German version of Til Schweiger’s tragicomedy “Head Full of Honey”. She has received an array of accolades for her acting, including a Grimme Award in 2010 for her performance in “Kommissar Süden und der Luftgitarrist” and a Bambi in 2011 in the Best National Actress category for “The Poll Diaries”.
