About Jörg Hilbert
Born in 1965, Jörg Hilbert studied communication design and lives in the Ruhr region as a freelance author and illustrator. His popular “Rusty Knight” musical children’s books (music: Felix Janosa) have so far sold over 1 million copies and the first volume was awarded the Golden Disc in 2014. The stage adaptations of his books are also among the most popular musicals produced for children. Other titles include “Father Pigmas”, “The Sun Maker”, “The Pappenheimers”, “Karo and Blaumann” and the globally successful series “Fritz & Fertig – Chess for Children”.
