About Katharina Thalbach
Born in 1954, Katharina Thalbach is an actress, audiobook narrator and director. In addition to stage acting, the prize-winning actress has appeared in numerous television and cinema productions, including Till Schweiger’s films “Kokowääh” and “Head Full of Honey”. Katharina Thalbach has won honors such as the German Film Award, the Grimme Award, the German Comedy Prize for Best Actress, the German Audiobook Award for her life’s work, the German Language Culture Award and the Jacob Grimm Prize. She most recently appeared in the television movies “Ein himmlisch fauler Engel” (2019), “Unterm Birnbaum” (2019) and “Extraklasse 2” (2020) and she received the 2020 Ernst Lubitsch Award for her role in “Ich war noch niemals in New York”.
