About Martin Baltscheit
Martin Baltscheit was born in Düsseldorf in 1965 and studied communication design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. He then worked as a comic designer, illustrator, actor as well as a playwright and author of children’s books, prose and audio plays. He has received numerous awards, including the German Audiobook Award in 2013 for “Zorgamazoo” and the German Lesekünstler award in 2014. In 2016, he won the German Children’s Theater prize for his play “Crow and Bear: The Sun Shines for Us All”.
