About Martin Bechler
Born in 1969, Martin Bechler is the face of Fortuna Ehrenfeld. He quickly led the band from bar gigs to selling out the Kölner Philharmonie (Cologne Philharmonic Hall). Sold-out tours and acclaim from the press – with his unconventional poetry and unpredictable soundscapes, Martin Bechler has created a completely new genre. In 2024 he was awarded the German Cabaret Prize for his “intoxicating melodies and musical resistance”.
