About Michael Kessler
Michael Kessler, born 1967 in Wiesbaden, is an actor, comedian, writer and director. He studied acting at the Bochum Drama School. His breakthrough came in 1991 with the cult film “Manta Manta”. In 2008 he was honoured with the German Comedy Award for Best Actor. For “Switch Reloaded”, he received the German Television Award and the Adolf Grimme Prize. He has also served as a juror for the German Television Award, the Golden Camera and the International Emmy® Awards Semifinal Judgings. Kessler writes regularly for the stage and television, for instance the mockumentary “Meine heile Welt”. His voice may be heard in numerous audio books, animated films (including “Angry Birds”) and radio commercials.
