About Michael Lentz
Michael Lentz, born 1964 in Düren, is an Author, musician, editor and lives in Berlin. Most recently published: "Warum wir also hier sind" (play), "Offene Unruh" (2010), the essay and essay collection "Textleben" (2011), the Frankfurt Poetics Lectures "Atmen Ordnung Abgrund" (2013), "Schattenfroh. Ein Requiem" (2018) and "Innehaben. Schattenfroh and the Images" (2020). Michael Lentz has received numerous awards, including the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize and the Walter Hasenclever Literature Prize. Michael Lentz received the Bettina Brentano Prize for Contemporary Poetry 2024 for “Chora” and his entire oeuvre.
