About Nick Hornby
Born in 1957, Nick Hornby studied at Cambridge and then worked for a time as a teacher. He has authored numerous best sellers: “High Fidelity” (1995) was made into a film starring John Cusack and Iben Hjejle, “About a Boy” (1998) was adapted to film with Hugh Grant, “A Long Way Down” (2014) became a film starring Pierce Brosnan. His works also include “How to Be Good” (2001) and “Juliet, Naked” (2009) as well as other books about literature and music. He received Oscar nominations in 2010 and 2016 for his screenplays for “An Education” and “Brooklyn”.
