About Paul Ingendaay
Paul Ingendaay was born in Cologne in 1961. He lived in Madrid for many years, where he worked as a writer and journalist. His novel “Warum du mich verlassen hast” (2006) won the Aspekte literature prize and was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize. Following the novel “Die romantischen Jahre” (2011) and the short story collection “Die Nacht von Madrid” (2013), he most recently published the travel guide “Gebrauchsanweisung für Andalusien” (2014) and the 2019 novel “Königspark”. Paul Ingendaay lives in Berlin, where he works as European correspondent for the arts and culture section of newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
