About Rainer Schmidt
Rainer Schmidt founded Writers’ Thursday in Berlin in 2015. He is an executive editor at “Frankfurter Allgemeine Quarterly” and FAZ’s “Zukunftsmagazin” as well as the author of several novels (including “Die Cannabis GmbH”). He has worked as editor-in-chief for the German edition of “Rolling Stone”, a reporter for “SPIEGELReporter”, journalist at “Zeit-Magazin” and spent several years working for the BBC World Service in London. Originally from the Rhineland region, he now lives with his family in Berlin.
