About Robert Harris
Robert Harris was born in 1957 in Nottingham. He achieved worldwide fame with his historical novel “Fatherland” (1992). All of his books have become international best sellers, including “Pompeii” (2003), “The Ghost” (2007), “The Fear Index” (2011), “Dictator” (2015) and most recently “Munich” (2017). Harris is one of the few best-selling authors who has also won France’s César award and the European Film Award (category European Screenwriter). In 2010, he and Roman Polanski co-wrote the screenplay for the film adaptation of his novel “The Ghost”. His newest work, “The Second Sleep”, was published in August 2019.
