About Ruth-Maria Thomas
Ruth-Maria Thomas was born in 1993, grew up in Cottbus and worked as a social worker in youth welfare. She studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig and is a co-founder of the erotic literature magazine “Hot Topic!”. In 2022, she was a finalist in the Open Mike competition for young German-language authors. Her writing, which has been featured on the radio and in literary magazines, focuses on the pitfalls of female socialization. Her most recent works are the short story “Glitzer” (2023) in “DAS GRAMM” magazine and “wie ich frau bin” [“How I am a Woman”] (2023).
