About Shelly Kupferberg
Journalist and moderator Shelly Kupferberg was born in Tel-Aviv in 1974 and grew up in West Berlin. She studied media, theatre and music at the Free University of Berlin, and began working as a journalist for public radio concurrently with her studies. For over 20 years, she has been moderating cultural, literary and social magazines and working as an editor and moderator for Deutschlandfunk Kultur; she moderates daily cultural programmes on rbbKultur. Kupferberg also moderates gala events for foundations, ministries, cultural institutions and festivals, as well as volunteering with Terre des Femmes. Her literary debut “Isidor” was published in August 2022. Shelly Kupferberg is a Der Spiegel best-selling author.
