About Sonia Mikich
Sonia Mikich, born in Oxford in 1951, worked as a journalist, presenter and editor-in-chief at WDR. From 1992 she was ARD correspondent in Moscow, from 1996 studio manager. From 1998 to 2002 she was ARD's studio manager in Paris. Sonia Mikich has received numerous awards for her work, including the German Critics' Prize (2001), the Telestar (1996) and the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (1998). Her book publications include "Planet Moskau" (1998) and "Warum uns der Medizinbetrieb krank macht" (2014). Her latest book "Aufs Ganze: Die Geschichte einer Tochter aus scheckigem Haus." was published in 2022.
