About Tahsim Durgun
Tahsim Durgun was born in Oldenburg in 1995 and studied to become a teacher of German and history. In January 2024, his satirical video on the secret far-right plans revealed by “Correctiv” went viral and was even quoted in the German parliament. But even before that, Durgun was delighting hundreds of thousands of followers with his videos on German society and post-migration life. In his interview show “Funk”, cynicism is his instrument of choice when talking to well-known personalities such as Felix Lobrecht or Enissa Amani. In 2024, he was awarded the Grimme Audience Award and the Blue Panther for his work. His own podcast, in which he’ll philosophize with celebrity guests about both whimsical and weighty matters in life, will start at the beginning of 2025.
