About Thees Uhlmann
Thees Uhlmann, born in Hemmoor in 1974, is a musician and author. With his band, Tomte, and since 2011 as a solo artist he has enjoyed great success, most recently with his album, “Junkies und Scientologen”. His debut novel, “Sophie, Death and I”, delighted critics and the public and was a Der Spiegel bestseller. It has been adapted for the stage, translated into several languages and is about to be turned into a movie.
