About Thomas Gottschalk
Born in Bamberg in 1950, Thomas Gottschalk is a television presenter and author. He started his career at broadcaster Bayerische Rundfunk and made his breakthrough on the ZDF talk show “Na sowas!”. In 1987, he took over as the host of the highly popular entertainment and variety show “Wetten, dass..?”, which he hosted for 151 episodes until 2011. His first book was “Autumn Blond” (2016), which he has now followed up with a second, “Autumn Bright” (2019).
