About Thomas Strässle
Thomas Strässle was born in Baden, Switzerland, in 1972. He studied literature, philosophy and musicology in Zurich, Cambridge and Paris. In parallel, he trained as a flutist. Today he is head of the transdisciplinary Y Institute at the Bern Academy of the Arts and a professor of modern German and comparative literature at the University of Zurich. He is also president of the Max Frisch Foundation at ETH Zürich.
