About Traudl Bünger
Traudl Bünger is a cultural educator and author. She studied literature and mathematics and obtained her PhD at the University of Cologne. After working in publishing houses, she has been developing concepts for cultural events since 2004. Among other things, she has worked as head of programming for the literature and culture festivals lit.Cologne, phil.Cologne and lit.Ruhr as well as for institutions such as Zeche Zollverein, Zürich liest, Literaturhaus Frankfurt and Deutsches Theater in Berlin. Traudl Bünger was a critic on the Swiss television program Literaturclub and teaches and writes about topics of cultural education, the literary public and contemporary literature. Her publications include the novel “Favourite Children” (2012) and the non-fiction best seller “Ich gebe Ihnen mein Ehrenwort. Die Weltgeschichte der Lüge” (2007), co-written with Roger Willemsen. Traudl Bünger is a member of the jury for the Heinrich Heine Prize.
