About Tupoka Ogette
Tupoka Ogette was born in Leipzig in 1980, the daughter of a Tanzanian agriculture student and a German math student. Since 2012, she has worked as an antiracism consultant and trainer, leading workshops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and advising organizations. Her 2017 book, “exit RACISM. Rassismuskritisch denken lernen” [exit RACISM: Learning to Think in an Anti-Racist Way] is a Der Spiegel best seller. In 2019, the magazine Edition F named Ogette as one of the 25 most influential women of the year, and SPIEGEL Online listed her as one of 10 women in the educational canon on theory and politics. Tupoka Ogette lives in Berlin.
