Accessibility
The lit.COLOGNE strives to be as inclusive as possible.
For years now, the lit.COLOGNE has been actively working to enable persons with disabilities to participate. There is a wide range of barriers that prevent people with disabilities from participating normally in cultural events. In its efforts to change this, the phil.cologne offers multiple fully-accessible and improved-access events every year.
Among other actions, we offer events that
• are accessible for wheelchair users and guests with mobility impairments;
• are interpreted into sign language. In view of the current situation, we ask that you notify us in advance when an interpreter is needed; we will be happy to check whether we can provide a sign language interpreter for your desired event;
• provide audio induction loop systems for hearing-impaired guests.
You can now book wheelchair friendly seats and seats for your company directly on myticket.de. If you have further questions, please contact inklusion@myticket.de or call: 040-2372 400 30 (Mo.-Fr. from 10am-6pm and on saturdays from 09am-1pm).
Even though it is not yet possible to make all our events fully or at least more easily accessible, we are constantly seeking ways to increase that number. The many and varied event venues that are cooperation partners of lit.COLOGNE contribute greatly to this effort. The German inclusiveness advocacy organisation Aktion Mensch provides vital support here.
We wish you events that are as exciting, enjoyable and accessible as possible!
