Art and Quanta – Annette Frier, Eva Verena Müller and the fairytale of substantiveness
Eva Verena Müller is actually an actress and comedienne, but a few years ago she turned to science and obtained her doctorate in forest ecology. And she learned that nothing is more exciting than the world of quanta! “So that I may perceive whatever holds / The world together in its inmost folds” was Faust’s great longing, which prompted him to enter into a pact with the devil. Müller did not go that far, but like Goethe, she has a passion for both science and storytelling. And so she entered into a pact with her friend Annette Frier: Together they would write the program “Art and Quanta”.
In it, they explore the question of why everything is connected to everything else and read texts written by everyone from Werner Heisenberg to Niels Bohr. It will be entertaining, informative, chaotic and by the end, we will finally (!) know what “this damn quanta thing” (A. Frier) can tell us about society. World premiere!
