Let the cameras roll! This year, Remix! will take a cinematic turn. Whether it’s “Titanic”, “Lord of the Rings”, “Mary Poppins”, “Robin Hood”, “Pride and Prejudice”, “James Bond”, “Pirates of the Caribbean” or “50 Shades of Gray” – any hit film is fair game for our authors – a group of young people with learning difficulties – who are remixing the world of moving pictures for the 2025 edition. Dietlinde Stroh and her camera team visited Florian Cieslik’s writing workshop and filmed the artists at work, with the motto “Remix! 6 – From Cologne to Hollywood”. With great enthusiasm, imagination, energy, courage and incredible humor, once again the Remixed stories and poems have been created with their very own sound and are just waiting for someone to yell “... action!” Curtains up for this special perspective that only a camera can capture. Annette Frier and Michael Kessler will read from these unique texts and make the sixth edition of Remix! a not-to-be-missed event.
