The key to every good song is good lyrics. That is, after all, why musician Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature.
The lyrics of Die Fantastischen Vier are a journey through 35 years of German hip-hop history – both personal and socially relevant, equally authentic and passionate. Since the founding of the group in 1989, it has been a formative part of Germany’s musical landscape. Hits such as “Die da?!”, “MfG” and “Troy” have riveted generations of fans. They have released 11 studio albums, several of which went platinum. And they always deliver an unforgettable mix of catchy melodies and clever lyrics, most recently on their latest album, Long Player.
