The tupodcast is not just a podcast, it is a community for empowerment, education and entertainment. Since 2019, author Tupoka Ogette (“It’s Your Turn: Living a Life Critical of Racism”), Germany’s most prominent facilitator of anti-racism, has been engaging in inspiring discussions with Black women from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The topics cover the big and little questions of our time – informative, moving and profound.
At lit.COLOGNE, on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, there will be an exclusive podcast episode with three guests: Journalist, presenter and author Oyindamola Alashe (“Ich, ein Kind der kleinen Mehrheit”) and author, journalist and podcaster Alice Hasters (“Identity Crisis”). Celina Bostic will provide musical accompaniment for the tupodcast, presenting songs from her album “Nie wieder leise”. This evening will be a celebration of solidarity and a space of learning – a moving event that resonates!
