Caroline Peters is at home on the most prestigious stages of German-language theater. In her role as obstinate police inspector Sophie Haas in the series “Homicide Hills”, she became a fan favorite. With sensitivity and ease, Peters has written a touching debut novel, Another Life. It is a story of a daughter looking back on her mother Hanna’s life and her own 1970s and 1980s childhood in the Rhineland – a balance between the bourgeois and the bohemian, with champagne and Pushkin in bed on Sunday mornings. Until one day, Hanna leaves her family to start a new life on her own. Host: Marie-Christine Knop
