The Aftershock of the pandemic – with Hendrik Streeck & Bettina Böttinger
The pandemic is over but the virus remains. For three years, we lived through an unprecedented situation – with uncertainty, sensible and senseless measures, warnings, admonitions and exaggerations. In Nachbeben [“Aftershock”], Hendrik Streeck, Director of the Institute of Virology at the University Hospital Bonn, takes a much-needed look back: The pandemic era needs to be investigated so that we can learn from it and use these findings – not least to better prepare ourselves for future pandemics and crises of all kinds. This is a challenge not only for the medical field but for all of society.
